January 28, 2010. Polish engineers found and destroyed over 300 000 unexploded bombs, explosives and other dangerous remains of the World War 2 during over 7000 actions in 2009. They built 11 bridges and helped people during flood.

January 15, 2010. Inowroc³aw. Museum im. Jana Kasprowicza organized conference dedicated to history of barracks where nowadays 2nd Engineering Regiment is located. Conference was accompanied by exhibitions of the history of units located in barracks.
